Kristin Melstrøm
Business Director
Kris joined Asian Absolute during the last part of 2020 taking up the role of Business Director to lead our global sales and operations teams.
She comes with 20+ years of experience from the localisation industry having initially started life as an in-house Norwegian translator after completing her BaHons in Technical Translation at Agder University in Norway and an MA in Translation Studies at the University of Surrey.

Kris has worked extensively within the localisation industry as a key account, client relationship and service delivery manager working with international companies to develop and support global localisation strategies. She has a strong customer focus and proven business development skills, coupled with highly effective customer management and communications skills.
In her spare time, she is a keen baker and also enjoys the outdoors – walking in the summer season and skiing when she can during the winter season.
Pornsulee Eksiripong
Global Technology Manager and Branch Manager, Bangkok, Thailand
Pornsulee is head of the company’s Bangkok office. She is responsible for all operations in the city: Project and Vendor Management, Technology and DTP, as well as developing and training the company’s local suppliers and ensuring that our Asia-based clients receive the highest standards of service.

Nan has more than a decade of experience in the localisation and publication industries. In this time she has worked for several well-known local and international companies, always looking to help clients save time and money on their projects.
She is the holder of a Master’s Degree in Technology Management, something which she puts to good use developing Machine Translation (MT) workflows, MT engine creation and completing post-editing projects. It was this skillset in particular which made her joining Asian Absolute such a boon for the company.
In her free time, Nan likes to compose finger-style arrangements on her acoustic guitar.
Nikki Ibarben
Branch Manager, Panama City, Panama
Nikki is Asian Absolute’s Panama Branch Manager. It’s her job to ensure that all client expectations are met as well as to oversee the relationships between our project managers and clients in the entire Americas region, making sure they’re as smooth and transparent as possible.

After studying and achieving a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs with a Minor in Business, Nikki spent five years managing some of the largest localisation projects in the industry before joining Asian Absolute. Given her experience and the fact that she was born and raised in Panama City, she was the perfect person to head up the company’s local office.
The small, highly productive team in Panama are also a good match for her detail-orientated, supremely organised nature – especially as the levels of production in our Panama office continue to rise.
When she’s not coordinating our biggest localisation projects in the Americas, Nikki enjoys a variety of other pursuits. As well as reading, travelling and attending festivals and wine tasting events, you’ll often find her on the beach walking her dog, Renzo.
Eileen Tay
Account Director, APAC
Based in our Singapore office, Eileen is Account Director for client accounts in the Asia Pacific region. Fluent in English and Mandarin, Eileen is equally well versed in understanding and supporting the needs of local clients across the region as well as multinationals and expats.

Eileen joined Asian Absolute in 2016 and has two decades of project and operations management experience in the translation and localisation industry. She draws on this experience – and her extensive knowledge of how to build effective, transparent relationships with clients – in order to ensure all our clients are completely satisfied with the service they receive.
One of the key parts of Eileen’s role is to guide and collaborate with the project management teams. As well as representing the interests of her clients within Asian Absolute, she gives her project teams the support and expertise they need to meet even the most challenging requirements.
In her downtime, she can be found in the gym training and practicing yoga. This keeps the momentum going and lets her have the drive to pursue more exciting challenges in her work life.
